Ninety percent of the waste discarded at sea consists of plastic that causes permanent damage to ecosystems as it decomposes. Eighty percent of waste in the sea comes from rivers, so marine ecosystems can be preserved by cleaning them up.
The River Cleaner project involves the creation – in Italy in 2021 – of the first fully automated plant powered with energy produced with renewable sources to collect plastic from rivers.
Thanks to an image recognition system based on artificial intelligence, the system identifies the presence of waste, extracts it from waterways and takes it to street level, where it is available to companies
to be recycled of disposed of correctly, 24/7, without generating emissions.
All Neyeture glasses will have a card featuring the Zero Impact® label from LifeGate made with eco-friendly paper derived from excess algae from lagoon environments at risk mixed with FSC® fibres, which will illustrate the project to your customers.
By choosing Neyeture for your optical practice, you too will promote the change! The partnership will be supported with a communication campaign online and in the national press.
